Before the evening call to prayer, our tent kitchens in N’Djamena, Abéché and Moundou are already running. Volunteers start at first light and do not stop until the meal is served: 500 kg of rice, 300 kg of meat, 200 litres of oil and tons of fresh vegetables move through the kitchen each day, plated as soup, a main dish, salad, bread and dessert. More than 60,000 meals reach the tables over the month, and fresh families join every night.

In the heart of Chad, on the edge of the Sahara Desert, thousands gather at iftar tables as the sun sets each day. As Quenara Foundation, we continue to stand with families struggling with poverty during this sacred month. Our volunteers, local cooks, and logistics team start preparations from the first light of morning.
Ramadan 2026
At each iftar table, we serve freshly baked bread, traditional soup, rice pilaf, vegetable stew with meat, and dessert. We prepare special menus for children. This is not just a meal, it is hope, a bond, a heart to heart touch.
