Why Quenara? Because help can't wait.
When news of a disaster or a war reaches us, we know a family somewhere is waiting for us. Right now we are on 32 emergency missions, placing your gift in the hands of families living through their hardest days.
We work with our own field team in the United States and with our teams and local partners all around the world. Wherever we go, we hand the help to the families themselves.

Your gift is in safe hands, every step of the way.
For 44 years we stood by families without asking anyone for a thing. Today we look after your gift with that same devotion.

Why us
When an emergency strikes, we lose no time and go straight to the families. We work with our own field team in the United States and with our teams and local partners in 48 countries around the world. Our founders cover the foundation's running costs, and we keep a record of every gift in our open ledger. That way, you always know where your gift went.
Our Emergency Response Center follows earthquakes, floods, fires, outbreaks and wars through official sources throughout the day. When a major disaster strikes, our first step is to reach our team and field partner in that region. We learn what families need by talking with them on the ground, and we hand the aid to them ourselves.
Yes, every one of them. Each card shows an emergency mission our team is carrying out in the field right now. The details come from our Emergency Response Center, and the cards update on their own as missions change. When you click a card, the giving page for that mission opens, so you can stand with those families too.
The number just below the heading is the count of emergency missions our team is carrying out right now. Each time you open this page, it is read again from our Emergency Response Center's live data. When we begin a new mission or complete one, the number changes too.
In the US, our own field team delivers the aid. Around the world, we stand with families in 48 countries through our teams and local partners. Today we have local partners in 48 countries who help kindness grow alongside us. New partners join this journey every day, so the number of countries we can reach keeps growing. In Indonesia, Palestine, Bangladesh and Nepal, for example, our own teams are at work. In Yemen, Somalia, Afghanistan and Lebanon, local partners who have known their regions for years work shoulder to shoulder with us. Wherever we go, we place the aid in families' own hands. Our operations center, where we follow crises and record every delivery, is in Istanbul.
Since 1980, our family has helped people in need with its own means, never asking for anything in return. On December 30, 2024, we turned that work into a formal foundation that anyone can see. Those 44 years are the years we stood by families before the foundation existed, without asking anyone for a thing. Today we care for your gift with that same devotion.
Emergency relief
We stand with families through earthquakes, floods, storms, wildfires, volcanic eruptions, outbreaks, war, hunger and harsh winters. We never forget Our Furry Friends who are hurt or far from home after a disaster. Our Emergency Response Center follows these events all over the world. Outside sanctioned regions, we try to reach every place where help is needed.
Our emergency appeals support everything our team does in that disaster. Search and rescue and evacuations come first, then the help that reaches families as they return home. Within 72 hours, we write to tell you the region your gift reached, which day of the response it was and which stage it joined.
Of course. Each tile above opens one of our emergency appeals, and every appeal belongs to a specific disaster or need. Your gift goes to the appeal you choose. Within that appeal, our team decides which families and which stage the help goes to, based on the need on the ground. General gifts go wherever the need is greatest at that moment.
Yes. In a disaster zone, our team works alongside local responders to reach people under rubble, cut off by floods or fleeing a fire. A gift for search and rescue equipment goes straight into this work.
In Gaza, Yemen and Sudan we bring families hot meals, bread, clean water, winter aid and medicine. Whenever we can, we buy the bread from local bakeries, so the help also keeps life going in the neighborhood.
Of course. In wildfires we rescue injured wildlife, make sure they are treated and stay with them until they can return to the wild. Our Furry Friends who end up far from home receive the same tender care.
Yes. Our work begins with search and rescue and evacuations, but it does not end there. We are with families when the water recedes, when the danger has passed and when they return home. We remain by their side while they recover.
Numbers and live data
All of them come from our real records. Missions and crises are read from our Emergency Response Center, and gifts from the live records in the Quenara Ledger. Each time you open this page, you see the numbers as they are right now. Hover over or tap any bar to see its exact figure.
Our Emergency Response Center gives every crisis it follows an urgency score out of 100. The score reflects how severe the event is, how many people it affects and the situation the country is already in. We follow every crisis scoring 50 or higher closely, and we go to the field for those scoring 70 or higher.
It shows how many places the appeal for that mission is live on. Our website and giving platforms such as Benevity and Every.org are all counted. Whichever channel you choose, your gift reaches the same mission.
Of course. We have our own field team in the United States. In floods, storms and wildfires, this team goes straight to the families. It also reaches Our Furry Friends living on the streets. The orange bars in the missions by type chart show these missions in the US.
92% of your gift goes straight to field projects. 5% keeps the foundation running, and 3% supports awareness work that helps us reach more hearts. Our real costs are far higher, and our founders gladly cover the difference themselves.
Because no part of these costs is taken from your gift. Our real costs are far higher than the 8% set aside from donations, and our founders gladly cover the difference from their own means. That is how 92% of your gift goes straight to the field.
Because our donors' privacy means a great deal to us. We show every gift entered in the ledger without a name, initials or a country. Here you only see when a gift arrived, which cause it supports and which channel it came through.
Gifts to our disaster, war, hunger, clean water, health and Our Furry Friends appeals count as emergency relief. Gifts to our other appeals appear under Other. That way, you can see at a glance how much kindness is reaching emergency relief.
Trust and verification
You can search our EIN (35-2882867) in the IRS Tax Exempt Organization Search. Our Candid profile shows our 2026 Platinum Seal of Transparency, and the Delaware registry lists our legal name, No Name Foundation.
If you are a US taxpayer, yes. The IRS recognizes our foundation as a 501(c)(3) charity. After every gift, your receipt is sent to your email address.
Throughout the day, we screen our donors, partners and suppliers against five official lists. They are the US Treasury's two OFAC lists, the US Commerce Department's Consolidated Screening List, and the UN Security Council and UK lists. The lists are refreshed in full every week. We never work with any sanctioned person or organization.
This is one of the things we care about most. We get to know a partner well before we start working together. We screen our partners and their managers against US and international sanctions lists regularly. We collect beneficial ownership (BOI) information from them and pass these records to the authorities. We never work in sanctioned regions.
Your receipt arrives in your inbox right after your gift. Within 72 hours, we write to tell you the region your gift reached, which day of the response it was and which stage it joined. To protect the dignity of families, we never share their names, faces or addresses. In projects, the region, step and date are added to your account as each stage is completed.
Of course. If you write to us within 72 hours of your gift, we will cancel it and refund you. After that, the aid has often already reached a family. Because we cannot take back help that is already in a family's hands, refunds are only possible within this time. Thank you so much for understanding.
Of course, and it would mean a lot to us. We are listed as a verified foundation on channels such as Benevity, Blackbaud YourCause, Bright Funds, Millie, FrontStream, GivingForce and Givmo. Simply search for No Name Foundation or our EIN in your program. Our Benevity ID is 840-352882867. If your company matches gifts, your kindness can grow even further.
All of our appeals on giving platforms are published under the name No Name Foundation with our EIN. At the top of this page you can see the missions we are on right now, and the missions table shows how many places our appeals are live on. If you ever come across an appeal you are unsure about, write to us and we will look into it together right away.
We could not find a question that matches your search. If you write to us, we will gladly help.
