Tuberculosis Treatment Support | Six Months of Care Kept on Track

Tuberculosis is preventable and curable yet the WHO says 10.7 million people fell ill with it in a single year and 1.23 million died. The cure takes months of daily medicine and the hardest part is often not the pills but everything around them. A bus fare to the clinic or a repeat radiograph or a sputum test can decide whether a patient finishes treatment. Only about 2 in 5 people with drug resistant TB reached treatment in the latest WHO count. Plenty of people start to feel well after a few weeks and quietly drop out before the cure is complete. Our help is planned so that every visit through the last one is covered. Each gift settles a single expense for a single patient such as a sputum test or a chest radiograph or a month of bus fare. The clinic that manages the case names the expense and we settle it with the clinic or the lab or the transit office. Not one dollar is handed to a patient. Our own staff handle this in Texas and Metro Manila while trusted partner groups carry it out in Kaduna State. No later than 72 hours after you give you will know which clinic used your gift. We pray ALLAH carries every patient safely to the last dose and back to full health.

What Our Donors Say
Corinne W.
Duluth, Minnesota
My grandmother had TB as a young woman and made a full recovery. I gave so another family gets that same ending.
Imani R.
Raleigh, North Carolina
I work in a hospital lab and know how much one test tells a doctor. Paying for tests felt like exactly the right place to help.
Brendan K.
Fargo, North Dakota
The money goes to the clinic and never into anyone's hands. That made my decision easy.
Gretchen L.
Lancaster, Pennsylvania
A documentary about TB clinics in Manila stayed with me for days. I came to this page the next morning.
Folake A.
Evanston, Illinois
My parents grew up in northern Nigeria and I know how far a clinic can be from a village. Covering the ride is smart help.
Desmond T.
Columbia, Missouri
I gave once and then switched to monthly. Half a year of medicine deserves steady support.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about this donation

1Which charities can I donate to for tuberculosis treatment?

You can give to Quenara Foundation on this page or in the app. Every TB gift covers a lab test or a chest radiograph or a transit pass for one patient.

2Which charities help TB patients finish treatment?

Quenara Foundation does. Its staff in Texas and the Philippines and its partners in northern Nigeria help patients complete TB care.

3Is tuberculosis curable?

Yes. The WHO describes TB as preventable and curable. Treatment usually means daily medicine for several months.

4How many people get TB each year?

The WHO estimates 10.7 million people fell ill with TB in 2024 and 1.23 million died from it.

5How many TB cases are there in the United States?

The CDC provisionally reported 10,260 cases in 2025 which is a rate of 3.0 per 100,000 people.

6What does my gift pay for?

One cost in a patient's care such as a sputum test or a repeat chest radiograph or a monthly transit pass to reach the clinic.

7Why do some patients stop treatment early?

Treatment is long and costs like transport and tests build up. Many people feel better before they are cured and need support to finish.

8What is drug resistant TB?

A form of TB that does not respond to the usual first medicines. The WHO says only about 2 in 5 people with it reached treatment in 2024.

9Where do you work on TB care?

In the US and the Philippines through our own field teams and in Nigeria with local partner organizations.

10Who decides what care is paid for?

The clinic handling the case. Our staff check the amount with the clinic or the lab and then settle it there.

11Does my gift buy TB medicine?

In many places the medicine itself is provided by public programs. Our gifts cover the tests and imaging and transport that patients still have to pay for.

12How soon will I see where my gift went?

The city of care is added to your account before 72 hours pass.

13Can I support this every month?

Yes. Choose monthly at checkout and your support follows patients through half a year of care.
