Donations

How do I make a donation?
Pick a category from the homepage, set the amount, write your intention and an optional message for the recipient. Once you enter your card details on our secure checkout, we process the donation instantly. You receive an email confirmation in seconds, and the proof package, including photos and a short video from the recipient, reaches you within 72 hours.
Which payment methods do you accept?
All major international cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Maestro. Apple Pay and Google Pay are active. For Turkish donors, BKM Express and bank transfer are also available. For cryptocurrency, contact us directly and we open a dedicated wallet address.
Where does my donation go?
Every donation reaches the recipient in the category you chose. Our local team delivers within 72 hours on average. Quenara never deducts a percentage of your donation for administrative costs, we cover operating expenses from separate sources. You can track each donation with photos, a short video and the GPS pin.
Can I claim a tax deduction?
Quenara’s legal foundation is No Name Foundation, a Delaware-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation in the United States (EIN: 35-2882867). U.S. donors are eligible for federal tax deduction. For donors in other countries, regulatory approvals are pending; once secured, we notify you automatically. Your existing donation records will be eligible for retroactive tax claims.
Can I cancel my donation?
Once a donation is processed and routed to the recipient, refunds are not possible. If there’s been an error (wrong category, duplicate charge, suspected fraud), contact us within 24 hours, we investigate and respond.
Is my payment information secure?
We never store card details on Quenara servers. All payments run through Stripe, the world-leading payment infrastructure, PCI DSS Level 1 certified, AES-256 encrypted. 3D Secure is enforced on every transaction. If you choose “Save Card” in your account, only an encrypted token is held on Stripe’s side; we never see the raw card number.
Can I get a receipt for my donation?
We email an automatic receipt to your registered address after every donation. From your account’s “My Donations” tab, you can download all past receipts as PDF. For U.S. tax filing, we generate an annual consolidated receipt automatically each January.
Can I donate anonymously?
Yes. During checkout, tick “Don’t share my name with the recipient”, your name appears neither in the proof package nor in the thank-you message. We keep your identity on file for legal record only and never share it externally.

Account

How do I create an account?
Click “Sign In” in the top right, then “Create Account”. Sign up with your name, email and password, or use Google, Facebook or Apple for one-tap registration. We require email verification after signup. Adding a passkey afterwards is recommended: sign in with your fingerprint or face in seconds, no password needed.
I forgot my password, what now?
On the sign-in screen, click “Forgot password” and enter your email. The reset link arrives within seconds. Click it and set a new password. Reset links are valid for 1 hour, if expired, request a new one.
I want to change my email address.
Go to Account, Settings, Email. Enter your new address. We send a confirmation link to your current address and a verification link to your new one. Once both are clicked, the change goes live. This security step prevents account takeover.
How do I delete my account?
Account, Settings, Danger Zone, Delete Account. Verify your password, optionally state a reason, and confirm. Your account deactivates immediately and remains recoverable for 30 days. After 30 days, we permanently delete all personal data in compliance with GDPR and CCPA. We retain donation history in anonymized form to meet legal record-keeping requirements.
What is two-factor authentication (2FA)?
An extra security layer for your account. In addition to your password, you enter a 6-digit code from an app like Google Authenticator or Authy. Even if someone steals your password, they cannot access your account without your phone. If you use a passkey, you already have stronger protection than 2FA. The 2FA feature opens this weekend.
Can multiple people share one account?
Each Quenara account belongs to one person. To donate on behalf of a family or organization, tick “I’m donating on behalf of an organization or family” during checkout and provide the name. That name appears in the thank-you message to the recipient.

Passkey

What is a passkey, why is it more secure?
A passkey is an authentication method that ties your identity to your device instead of a password. Your device generates a secure cryptographic key, and you release it with your fingerprint, face or PIN. No password to remember. Phishing attacks are useless because the key only works for quenarafoundation.com. Apple, Google, Microsoft and major tech companies all support this standard.
How do I set up a passkey?
Sign in to your account, go to the Passkey tab and click “Add New Passkey”. If your device supports Windows Hello, Touch ID, Face ID or Android biometrics, the prompt opens automatically. One tap and you’re done. Next time you sign in, biometric verification replaces your password.
I lost my device, how do I get back into my account?
We recommend adding passkeys to multiple devices (phone and computer). Even if you lose all devices, you can sign in using one of the 10 recovery codes we provided during setup. If recovery codes are lost too, request an identity-verified recovery via email; we respond within 24 hours.
How do I add passkeys to multiple devices?
When you first sign in from a new device, you see “Add a passkey to this device”. Verify with one of your existing devices, and the new one is added to your list. If you use iCloud Keychain, Google Password Manager or 1Password, your passkey syncs automatically across devices.
Can I sign in from my phone using a QR code?
Yes. From the “Quick Sign-In” dialog on your computer, click “Use a different device”, a QR code appears. Scan it with your phone’s camera, complete biometric verification on your phone, and your computer signs in automatically. You only need your phone nearby, no app installation required.
Can I delete a passkey?
Yes. Account, Passkey, click “Remove” next to the relevant key. Always remove the passkey when selling or losing a device. You can also rename each passkey with a label like “iPhone 16” or “Work Computer” to easily identify which is which.

Proof and Transparency

How do I receive proof within 72 hours?
The moment your donation reaches the recipient, our local team takes a photo, records a short video, and logs the GPS coordinates. We deliver this proof package to you via email and account notification within 72 hours. You can revisit all proofs anytime from your account’s “My Donations” tab.
How are photos and videos delivered to donors?
After obtaining the recipient’s consent, the local team or volunteer captures the moment of delivery. We store proof files on encrypted servers and share with you via a private link only you can view. The recipient’s face may be blurred for privacy; in such cases, the package contents (food, medicine, fuel) and the moment of delivery remain clearly visible.
How does Quenara work?

How do you select recipients?
Our local teams identify those in need through neighborhood headmen, foundations, faith community leaders and direct field observation. Lone elderly individuals, low-income families, orphans, sick relatives, and refugees from conflict zones are our priority groups. We keep each verified recipient’s record on file, and an annual audit reassesses each recipient’s situation.
Which countries do donations reach?
Quenara is currently active in 48 countries: Turkey, Yemen, Palestine, Somalia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Afghanistan, Sudan, Ethiopia, Egypt, Lebanon, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and more. The full list is available via the region filter on each donation category page. Some sanctioned regions cannot receive donations due to legal restrictions.
Can I access the foundation’s financial reports?
We publish annual audited financial reports as PDFs on our “Transparency” page. Our IRS Form 990 (mandatory tax form for 501(c)(3) organizations) is publicly available on the IRS system. Each product page also displays a live counter: total donations to this category, amount distributed, number of active recipients.
