Dignity Washpoint: Hygiene with Honour
In Gaza a queue forms, and when the water finally runs the shoulders ease. We build a lit, greywater managed modular washing and hand washing point in your name: we lay the base, run the pipe, fit the curtain and the lock, and hang a lamp at the door; then a hygiene trainer sits beside families for weeks, teaching the soap, the water and safe use. Two stations dissolve the lines of hundreds of households a day, and as the dark shrinks the risk shrinks with it. Every line of running data stays on open record. When the first tap opens, a GPS stamped photo, a signed usage log and a short clip land in your account.
The curtain closed, the water ran. Beside her mother, little Layla stepped under the tap, worked the soap into foam, and said, "The smell of soap is like safety." That sentence became the station's invisible sign; our trainer says she hung it by the door. Every neighbour who joined the evening line caught the scent Layla left behind, and stood a little straighter in the dark.
