We get to know them first

We look at what they have done before, how they are known in the region and who trusts them.

  • Our local partners

To keep them safe, we do not publish their names, so they are not part of the live screening on this page. We screen them and their managers against the same lists regularly.

50 records from our donors, the giving platforms we work with and our suppliers are compared with 33,526 entries on the official US, UN and UK lists.

Our three principles

  • We keep their names private

Our colleagues and partners often work in dangerous places. Keeping their names private protects them and the families they serve.

  • We stay out of sanctioned areas

Keeping aid out of the wrong hands is one of the things we care about most. We do not work in sanctioned countries or regions, and we do not accept gifts from them.

  • We protect families' dignity

The dignity of families and children comes before everything else for us. We always ask for permission before taking a photo.
