Anti Poaching Rangers | Equipping the Long Patrol

South Africa lost 352 rhinos to poachers in 2025. Most losses were in Mpumalanga where rangers walk the bush for days. An Anti Poaching Rangers gift pays for what those patrols carry. It covers field gear such as boots and tents and first aid kits. None of it pays for weapons. Rations with fuel and water purification keep a patrol out for several days. Rangers train in first aid and navigation. We fund the radios and field cameras that keep a patrol in touch. In South Africa and Thailand our own team works alongside a local field partner and never handles wildlife. The district or city where your gift worked and the job it covered reach your account within 72 hours.

I have followed orangutan rescue stories for years but never thought about the people walking the forest. This time I gave to the rangers through the app. The receipt came while I was still holding my tea.
Nathan

A podcast about saiga herds on the steppe kept me awake one night. I gave to Anti Poaching Rangers before breakfast and checked the district in my account later that week.

Sun bears are the reason I started reading about poaching at all. I picked this appeal because it keeps rangers fed on long patrols. My first update named the district and the work.
Abimbola

A photo of a helmeted hornbill on a museum wall stopped me for a long time. That evening I made a small gift on the website. I think the update arrived the next morning.
Linnea

I first gave to wildlife care through the California Norte fire appeal in October. Reading about musk deer brought me back to Quenara and this time I chose the ranger patrols. My receipt came at once.
Gabriela

Leatherback turtles have been on my mind since a radio segment last month. I gave without much thought and was glad to see the district within 72 hours.

12Is my gift linked to one rhino?

Thank you for the thoughtful question. This gift is not tied to a single creature. It supports the patrols that protect species where they live.

13Can I pick the district or the item?

We appreciate the interest. The protected area's team reports the need and your gift goes to it. Donors do not choose the district or the item.

14Where can I give?

Only at quenarafoundation.com and in the Quenara app. We do not take gifts through any other channel.

15Who can I contact if I have a question?
