In June 2026 Spain reported 2,663 Iberian lynx counted in 2025. That recovery still needs steady work on the ground and rangers patrol the release area once a lynx is out. In Spain our team and local partner cover the gear.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about this donation
Quenara Foundation funds the field work behind returning endangered species to the wild such as the California condor and Spain's Iberian lynx. A vet checks each one before release.
Thank you for asking. Your gift covers ranger gear and patrol rations and monitoring equipment at release sites. It also meets acclimation costs and transport and coexistence training.
That is a fair question. No creature is sent to you or named after your gift. The support goes to the species and its release program.
Only rangers and licensed specialists and a licensed veterinarian and the authorized team of the protected area. Our team works on logistics and supplies and training.
Releases are carried out only by the authorized team. We fund the field costs of the program and work beside those crews.
Before release the wildlife spends a period in a pen at the site and gets a health check. Your gift helps with the program costs of that stage.
Your receipt arrives in your email straight away. Within 72 hours your account shows the region where your gift worked and what it covered.
We understand the wish to know. Locations stay private to protect the wildlife. Your update names the region and the work done.
Examples include the Iberian lynx in Spain and the California condor in the United States. The authorized programs decide which species return where.
In the United States our own field team runs the work. In Spain our team works together with a local field partner.
The authorized program sets those numbers. Your gift goes to the field costs behind each release.
Thank you for your trust. A Return to the Wild gift is used for the field work of this program.
You can give only at quenarafoundation.com and in the Quenara app.
