A Survival Kit | One Bag for the First 72 Hours

After a flood in Sindh a family needs four things at the same time. The bag holds clean water with purification supplies and durable food and a hygiene pack and basic medical supplies. Our own team carries the kit across the flooded roads and hands it to the family. A photo and a video of the kit being opened in the family's hands reach your donor panel with the date within 72 hours. May ALLAH protect you from worse.

What Our Donors Say

The flood leaves four needs at once and that rarely makes the news. I still keep every list from here.
Jing

Which home the kit reached after the flood mattered to me. The list named it with the hour and the place. I still have that one.
Daniel

Medicine kept arriving separately elsewhere. I doubted one bag could hold it all but I donated a kit again this month. I still read every list that comes.
Valentina

Clean water and purification were what I first covered here. The clip turned up within the week. I still have it.

A mother lifting a bag out of the flood water is the one photo I kept. One more kit has gone out from me this month.
Sharifah

Clean water with food and a hygiene pack went in one bag while the fields were still under water. The list was in my hands by the third day. I keep it beside the clip.

2Why is the aid not sent piece by piece?

5How do I know what was in the bag?

Everything in the bag is written onto the handover list one by one and the list reaches your panel.

6Is my gift mixed with other kits?

No. The kit is matched to one family and handed to that family.

7When is the kit handed over?

The kit is put in the family's hands inside the first 72 hours after the flood.

8Does it reach villages whose fields are underwater?

Yes. It also reaches families in villages where the fields and homes are underwater.

9How do you reach a family when the roads are cut?

The team crosses the flooded roads by whichever way stays open. The handover is made in the village.

This appeal is for the flood areas of Sindh.
