When an earthquake, flood, drought or war strikes a family, we go to that family. We have done so since 1980. We work with our own field team in the US and with our team and local partners in 48 countries. We always put those in the hardest situations first: women, children, the elderly, people with disabilities, the sick, disaster survivors and victims of war.

In 1980 our family began reaching out to people in need. For 44 years we never asked anyone for a single cent. We spent millions of dollars from our own pocket and gave our years and our labor. We still do.

- Bali, Indonesia: Coordination center. Our work in Indonesia is led from here. From Flores to Anak Krakatau, our team in Bali runs the relief on the ground.

One night is enough to bring down a home and the whole street around it. We wait at the rubble with families and bring them tents, water and hot meals in the first days.
Flood
Overnight the streets turn into rivers and homes disappear under the water. We stay under one roof with families who lost their homes and bring clean water and food.
Winter and cold
In the cold, a hot meal warms like a blanket. In the harshest days of winter we bring families hot meals, warm clothes and heating fuel.
War and hunger
Some families stand in line for hours for one pot of hot food. In the middle of the war we reach them with bread, hot meals and medical care.

Who Are We?
Since 1980 our family has helped people in need with its own means. We brought hot meals to families caught in war and dug wells in drought. We waited at the rubble after earthquakes and stayed under one roof with families who lost their homes to floods.
From 1980 to 2024 we never asked anyone for a single cent, and we never put our name on anything. In 2024 we brought this work under a formal structure. Now we do it together with you, and we write to you openly about every step we take.

About us
Yes, both are us. No Name Foundation is the legal name of our foundation, registered in Delaware, USA. Quenara Foundation is the name you know us by, and our humanitarian work is carried out under it. As No Name Foundation, we hold all legal and financial responsibility.
Because this work began in 1980. Since then, our family has helped people in need with its own means, never asking for anything in return. On December 30, 2024, we turned that effort into a formal foundation that anyone can see. That is our official founding date.
Our foundation is governed by a board of directors. Our founders cover most of the foundation's running costs from their own means. For their safety, we do not publish the names of our team and partners on our website. If your company or organization would like to know more about our board and team, we will gladly provide this information through a secure channel.
Our registered address is 8 The Green, Suite B, Dover, Delaware 19901, USA. Our operations center, where we follow crises and record every delivery, is in Istanbul.

In the field
We follow disasters around the world in real time through official sources. When a major disaster strikes, our first step is to reach our team and field partner in that region. Together we assess the need on the ground, buy locally whenever we can and hand aid to families ourselves.
Our Emergency Response Center follows crises around the world through official sources and gives each one an urgency score. We go to the field for crises scoring 70 or higher. We always put the families in the hardest situations first, especially women, children, the elderly, people with disabilities and the sick.
In the US, our own field team delivers it. In other countries, our team works shoulder to shoulder with local partners who have known the region for years. Our operations center in Istanbul follows crises and records every delivery.
Before we begin working with a partner, we get to know them closely. We look at what they have done before, how they are known in the region and who trusts them. We screen our partners and their managers against sanctions lists regularly. In the field, our team stays beside them.

On our website, you can give in US dollars, Turkish lira, euros, British pounds or Australian dollars. If you would rather give by bank transfer, our Wise account lets us receive your transfer in many other currencies too. When you give through a platform, the platform sets the currency.
Through Stripe, you can give by credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Card payments meet the industry's PCI DSS security standard, and your card details are never stored on our systems. If you prefer to give by bank transfer, your transfer reaches our account safely through our Wise infrastructure. Simply write to us for our account details.
Your receipt is emailed to you right after every gift. If you cannot find it, you can see the record of your gift on the My Donations page of your account. You can also simply write to us, and we will send your receipt again right away.
Of course. If you write to us within 72 hours of your gift, we will cancel it and refund you. After that, the aid has often already reached a family. Because we cannot take back help that is already in a family's hands, refunds are only possible within this time. Thank you so much for understanding.
No. We never publish our donors' names, and the gift record on our website never shows your name. When you give through a platform, you can usually choose whether your details are passed on to us.

Under US tax law, our foundation is classified as a public charity under sections 509(a)(1) and 170(b)(1)(A)(vi). For individual donors, this allows wider tax deduction limits than a private foundation.
Platinum is Candid's highest seal of transparency. We earned it by setting out our goals, how we work and how we measure our results openly on our Candid profile. Only a small number of US nonprofits hold this seal.
Yes. Our Charity Navigator profile is live, and you can give to us there through the Giving Basket. Charity Navigator needs several years of standard Form 990 filings to give a rating. Because we were founded at the end of 2024 and file Form 990-EZ, our profile has not been rated yet.

The dignity of families and children comes before everything else for us. We always ask for permission before taking a photo. We also have a comprehensive written child protection policy, and our work in the field is guided by it.
No, never. We do not send our donors' information to any advertising tools. Our donation and account pages are also closed to search engines. The trust you place in us means a great deal to us.

Simply make your gift through your company's giving portal, or record it there. If your company matches gifts, the portal creates the matching request itself. If the platform asks us to confirm anything, we reply as soon as we can.
Platforms such as Benevity gather donations and usually transfer them to our bank account once a month. Donor advised funds such as Fidelity Charitable usually send approved grants within ten business days. Some platforms deduct a small processing fee and show it clearly on their own pages.
