Common questions about this donation
Yes, with 100% guarantee your Qurbani is carried out on the first day of Eid and distributed to families in need that same day. Every stage is documented with photographs and video, and the GPS coordinate of the receiving household is included in your report.
It follows Hanafi jurisprudence. The animal passes a veterinary health check, is cut by a qualified butcher, oriented toward the Qibla, and completed in a single pass with takbir. Our field team records each stage, and the health certificate together with cutting records are shared with you.
Wajib Qurbani is obligatory on the individual, so you choose one share from a small animal or one of seven shares from a large animal. Each share returns as a separate wakalah record and a separate video report. Trusts are never merged, every share carries its own intention on record.
Our active Wajib-period fields are Nigeria, Somalia, Bangladesh, Yemen, Afghanistan, Chad, Mali and Sudan. You indicate your region preference on the donation form, and our registered field team in your chosen country carries your intention.
Within 72 hours of the cutting, your photographs, HD video report and GPS location reach you via WhatsApp and email. We do not exceed this window even in the dense traffic of the Eid days, otherwise your Qurbani is renewed at no cost.
Yes, Quenara offers these four Qurbani intentions as distinct categories. Each has its own jurisprudential ground, season and workflow. You can choose the intention that matches yours on our Adak, Aqiqah or Shukr pages and entrust your donation with the same guarantees.
After completing your donation, an online wakalah form is sent to you. You write your name and intention and confirm digitally. This wakalah reaches our field team. Before the cutting your name is read aloud one by one and recorded on video. No paper is required, the entire chain runs digital and auditable.
If the cutting has not yet begun, you can email us your cancellation and a refund is issued to your payment method the same day. Because Wajib Qurbani is performed on the first morning of Eid, the cancellation window closes at the end of the eve, after which the trust enters the field pipeline.
After cutting, the meat moves through a cold chain to a distribution station, and our field team delivers it door to door according to the household list. A portion is prepared as a hot meal with chickpeas and bulgur, a portion is distributed raw. No piece is stored at the foundation, all of it reaches tables on Eid day.
Yes, you can register a wakalah on behalf of deceased relatives or other Muslims in your family. Each name is recorded as a separate share and returns as a separate video report. You enter the names one by one during your intention declaration.
All payments are processed by Stripe with 256 bit SSL encryption. Your card details are never stored on Quenara servers. PCI DSS level 1 compliance is maintained, transactions are verified in real time, and confirmation is sent to you by email.
Quenara Foundation holds Delaware-registered 501 c 3 status, so US taxpayers can apply their donation for deduction. Donors outside the United States also receive an official donation receipt automatically to the email address used for the donation.
Every Wajib Qurbani donation is held in its own isolated account, commingling is not permitted. Line item costs for field operations, the cutting fee, veterinary control, cold chain and distribution are published in our transparency ledger. The ledger is open, every unit is accounted for.
