Food and Water Station | Fountain, Shade, Care

For silent lives left thirsty and hungry on the street we choose a suitable corner, connect the water fountain, fill the food hopper, draw a shade over it, and check the health of the lives that stop by with our mobile vet team. We add to your panel the frame of the lives that have drunk and eaten, with date and location. We set up not a one day point but a lasting station. We choose the corner, connect the fountain, fill the hopper, draw the shade, give a vet check where needed, and take the station into the map and care follow up. Our volunteers check the fountain and basin each morning. A small intention becomes a fountain that never runs dry, a full basin, and cool shade.

Fountain, shade and upkeep together

Within 72 hours your station gift reaches the street as a body, a food hopper, a water hopper, an awning or a solar panel, and the daily paw count is reported to you.

A Station Is Not One Piece
A paw fountain is a body, a food hopper, a water hopper and a concrete base. One of those four is paid for and fitted inside 72 hours, and the point it reached is named.
87,000 families reached
No Refill Promise, No Station
A station is not opened without a refill commitment. A year of refills, monthly cleaning and filter changes go into the budget from the start. A point with no refill sits empty within two months.

Counting Is Done by Camera
How many paws arrive is not guessed at. A counting camera gives the daily figure, and the daily count before installation and after it are both reported to you.
350,000 lives touched
The Yearly Service Promise
A body left unserviced rusts within two years. Paint, fixings and tap replacement run under the yearly service line, and the service date with the list of work done is sent to you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about this donation

1What does the Food and Water Station cover?

It covers a fixed feeding point, a clean water fountain, a shaded rest spot and a mobile vet check.

2Is the station permanent?

Yes. It is a fixed station, not a one day point. It is marked on the map and taken into daily care follow up.

3How do I verify the support?

The dated, located photo of the full basin station and the life drinking from it is uploaded to your panel within 72 hours.

4What does the mobile vet check do?

It checks on site the health of the lives that stop by the station, noticing the sick or hurt one early and taking it into treatment.

5How is the water kept clean?

The fountain is fed from a clean line, the basin washed and filled each morning, the flow set, and stale water is never left.

6Who maintains the station?

Our volunteers check the fountain and basin each morning, renew the water, fill the food and log the situation.

7Does my gift go to a single station?

The care route extends to the other corners of that quarter too, but each record is logged to a set station and followed.

8Which corners are chosen?

Priority goes to dry corners with no water, where many lives stop by, or where no one tends.

9Why does the shade matter?

In summer heat the asphalt grows very hot. A shaded rest spot lets the lives cool and rest.

10Can I take on a station's upkeep ongoing?

Yes. If you wish, you can take on a station's upkeep each month, and a photo of each field round reaches your panel separately.

11Are the stations linked?

When several stations are set in a quarter, they are all marked on the map and followed on a single care route.

12Can I get a tax deduction receipt?

Yes. Quenara is a Delaware based 501(c)(3) organization, and your receipt is sent through your panel.

13Is a record kept after set up?

Yes. The station, the location, the photo and the volunteer's signature are kept on file, and the process is clear from start to finish.
