Winter Kennel | Dry Floor, Rain Shield

For silent lives shivering, soaked or left in the open in the winter cold we choose a windless corner, set the insulated kennel, lay the dry-floored bed, draw the rain shield, leave food and water before it, and watch the inside warmth on freezing nights. We add to your panel the frame of the lives that have come to a warm nest, with date and location. We do not spend the gift at random. We choose the corner, set the kennel, lay the bed, follow the night warmth, and take the kennel into the map and care follow-up. Our volunteers keep the beds dry, and we hold the record on your file. A small intention becomes, in the cold, a dry floor, a windless corner, a warm nest.

The Strongest Proof, a Kennel Photo
For us the strongest report is the dated, located photo of the kennel with the life warming inside it. We see that moment in that frame, then share it with the file.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about this donation

1What does the Winter Kennel cover?

It covers a dry-floored insulated nest, a rain shield, a food and water point and a night warmth watch.

2Does the kennel soak in the rain?

No. It is made with a waterproof shield, a sloped roof and a raised floor, and its inside stays dry.

3How do I verify the support?

The dated, located photo of the kennel with the life warming inside it is uploaded to your panel within 72 hours.

4What is the night warmth watch?

On freezing nights the temperature inside the kennel is watched from afar, and when it drops, extra insulation or a warm bed is taken.

5How are the beds kept dry?

Our volunteers change the soaked beds for dry, thick new ones and vent under the kennel.

6Does the kennel hold in the wind?

Yes. It is made weighted and fixed, its entrance turned away from the wind, and it holds in place in a storm.

7Does my gift go to a single kennel?

The winter route extends to the other corners of that quarter too, but each record is logged to a set kennel and followed.

8Which corners are chosen?

Priority goes to wind-open, wet and muddy cold corners never reached by a kennel.

9Is there a special kennel for pups?

Yes. For pups cold with their mother a wide, warm kennel is set, a thick dry bed laid, and warm food left.

10Can I give steady support?

Yes. If you wish, you can give steady shelter support each winter, and a photo of each field round reaches your panel separately.

11What happens to lives left in the open on a freezing night?

A life shivering in the open is guided to the nearest kennel, a warming bed laid, and warm water given.

12Can I get a tax-deduction receipt?

Yes. Quenara is a Delaware-based 501(c)(3) organization, and your receipt is sent through your panel.

13Is a record kept after set-up?

Yes. The kennel, the location, the photo and the volunteer's signature are kept on file, the night warmth is followed, and the process is clear.
