Throughout Ramadan 2026, we deliver hot iftar meals to more than 2,000 people daily across N'Djamena, Abéché and Moundou cities in Chad. Our iftar tents, established in collaboration with local partners and volunteers, have become one of the largest humanitarian operations in the region. Our project uses 500 kg of rice, 300 kg of meat, 200 liters of oil and tons of fresh vegetables daily.
Each iftar table serves soup, main course, salad, bread and dessert. Our target is to distribute more than 60,000 meals throughout Ramadan.
Lives We Touch
In the heart of Chad, on the edge of the Sahara Desert, thousands gather at iftar tables as the sun sets each day. As Quenara Foundation, we continue to stand with families struggling with poverty during this sacred month. Our volunteers, local cooks, and logistics team start preparations from the first light of morning.
At each iftar table, we serve freshly baked bread, traditional soup, rice pilaf, vegetable stew with meat, and dessert. We prepare special menus for children. This is not just a meal, it is hope, a bond, a heart to heart touch.
